Clann na nGael

Clubperson of the Year - 2008

This year's Club Person of the Year has, in recent times, spent time and effort to rekindle Club spirit and ambition and has become one of the hardest working and dedicated Club member of recent times.

He represented his club at all levels during his playing career. During this time he won: 2 County U-16 Medals, 1 U-21 Medal, 9 County Senior Medals, 6 Connacht Club Medals, 9 O’Rourke Cup Medals and 4 County Cup Medals.   He was the Club Senior Team Manager from 2001-2003.

Of course this year we must look forward to the completion of the development of Phase 1 of our new Club Grounds.   He has led by example to bring this work to fruition.   For a development of this magnitude to succeed he must continue to receive the full support of all the Clann na nGael Club.   For his outstanding commitment and leadership, the recipient of this year's Martin McManus Trophy for the Clann na nGael Club Person of the Year 2008 is:

Padraig Naughton
