Clann na nGael

Player of the Year - 2008

The year 2008 was one of our most successful for our club senior team for sometime.  Having reached the Semi-Final of the County Senior Championship,  they won the Final of the O’Gara Cup, and therefore promotion to the senior league.   In a year when so many young players were introduced this player was a example to all through his dedication, commitment and composed performances throughout the year.

This player has come up through the underage ranks.  He won his first County U-12 medal in 1988 and continued his winning ways by winning U-14 County Medal, U-16 County Medal, Minor County Medal and an

U-21 County Medal, He also won a Junior A in 1997.   He also represented his County at U-16 and Minor Level.

The worthy recipient of the Paddy Nicholson Memorial Cup for the Clann na nGael Senior Player of the Year award for 2008 is:

Raymond Fallon
