The following are just some snippets concerning local events and people.

This photograph was taken at the Saint Patrick's Day Parade (2000)  in Clara.  Helen Hackett in the green coat obviously had St.Patrick in mind when preparing for the parade.

The pictures below show Richard Cullen & his son Christopher standing  in front of the recently renovated Kilmucklin House. Richard spent some  time in Australia and other far flung places, and on returning to Ireland  took on the project of renovating this fine old building.

The postcard below shows some of the features of Clara, included are  The Catholic & Protestant Chapels, the river Brosna, and two popular local  characters Joe Cullen & Gerry Begelton.
