This Bed and Breakfast is located on the the Wild Atlantic Way on the main Galway to Spiddal road (R336) about 3 minutes drive after Barna village. It is about a 15-20 minute drive from the centre of Galway city.

It is a perfect location for visiting Galway and enjoying all that the city has to offer. It is also an ideal base for touring Connemara or visting the Aran Islands. 

The guest house is situated beside the sea and the sea facing rooms, as you would expect, have excellent views over Galway Bay.

How to Get There

If you are driving from Galway in the direction of Barna drive straight through Barna village. You will then pass another crossroads. Continue on for another half mile and Claret Villa is on your left hand side. (If you pass the Connemara Coast Hotel which is also on your left, then you have gone about half a mile too far.)
