The Sam Maguire Cup made a very welcome return to Clonard on Friday October 22nd 1999 following Meath's victory over Cork in the All Ireland Senior Football Final in September. It was a very joyful occasion and the children had a chance to meet their heroes Mark O Reilly and Tommy Dowd.
