CHRISTMAS FAIR

The Clonberne National School Parents Association wish to thank all who helped with the Christmas Fair which was a great success. This was a family fun day with many attaractions including Santa, Cake Stalls, Farm Produce Stalls, Craft Stalls, Face Painting, Choir Singing, Raffle and much much more.
Thanks to SANTA, the CHOIR, all who donated items, and all who supported the event on the day.

Winner of "Guess the weight of the turkey"

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Local volunteer Kevin Donlon, Ballyedmond, will be travelling to Bangladesh for a month next June. Kevin is travelling with 24 members of the Galway diocese led by Fr. Iomar Daniels. The group aims to build houses for those living in extreme poverty.
Thanks to all who supported the Fundraising Quiz in the Country Inn on Friday 18th Dec, and
the Fundraising Social in Mees Lounge on Sunday 20th Dec.

COMMUNITY BUS SERVICE

The Rural Transport Community Bus Service continues every Tuesday to Roscommon. Free to all travel pass holders. €5 return to others. Pick up at Mahanagh at 10.00a.m.; Clonberne Community Centre at 10.05a.m.; via Lerhin and Kilkerrin Community Centre 10.20a.m. Leaving Roscommon at 2.00p.m. Please contact Willie Treacy 087 2803205 if you wish to travel.


KILKERRIN CLONBERNE CEANGAL MISSION FUND

Sponsored walk was held on Sunday Nov 8th and started at Kilkerrin Community Development Centre at 2.00p.m. There was a good turnout with a nice day for walking. Refreshments were served afterwards in Clonberne Community Centre. Please return Sponsor Cards as soon as possible.
