The International Civil Defence badgeis worn by members of Civil Defence,to show that they are apart of a worldwidenetwork of committed people, preparedto serve in their own country or overseasas part of practical disaster relief assistance.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LOCAL CIVIL DEFENCE WHO WERE PRESENTED WITH THE KEYS TO A NEW LAND CRUISER JEEP IN APRIL 2007. THIS JEEP WILL ASSIST THE GROUP PROVIDED THE MANY DUTIES WHICH THEY UNDERTAKE.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LOCAL CIVIL DEFENCE UNIT, WHO WERE PRESENTED WITH THE KEYS OF THEIR OWN MINI-BUS. THE PRESENTATION WAS MADE BY MR TOM CASSERLY AT A FUNCTION HELD IN THE COUNTRY INN ON SUN DEC 29TH 2002.
As the unit is very active and partakes in alot of Duties, this bus will be of great assistance. It is a great achievement, and a just reward for the dedication of the unit members. Civil Defence continues every Thursday night, in the Community Centre, Clonberne at 8p.m.
We provide first aid training, and much more in Clonberne community center at 8pm each Thursday night.
