Mr. Peadar Brandon retired as Principal of Clonberne National School after many years of dedicated service.
Peadar was principal since he first arrived in Clonberne in 1969. He spent his first few years in the old school
in Lerhin and then moved to the new school which amalgamated Leitra, Lerhin and Mahanagh schools.
Over the years Peadar, as Principal, dedicated his time to the development of the children both in the classroom
and also their personal development. This included all types of sports, quizes, outings or whatever was needed. Clonberne
school has many achievements down through the years and this is as a direct result of his dedication and hard work, along with
excellent staff working with him.
