Our Plan in Action
We decided to recycle waste paper from the post. We collected the paper and gave it to children when they needed paper for art.
We organized an art competition using recycled paper.
We collected envelopes from the post and recycled them as folders for music and projects.
We decided to take better care of our books by covering them in recycled wallpaper and continued to operate a rental scheme.
We had a bring and buy sale and donated £60 to Concern. In this way we were reusing our toys and books and helping others too!
We recycled coffee jars and made moneyboxes to save for our school tour to the art gallery, the museum and the new traditional music center - Ceol - in Smithfield in Dublin. We got the idea for our motto
"We Save and Recycle" from the money boxes. An Taisce means to save, and this organisation works to save our environment.
