Pixies Audio Clips
So this clip is from a bootleg of the Pixies June 1991 gig in Dublin. Its taken from an audio cassette bootleg that I bought from a stall in Dublin around 1992/3. I just recently got a lead to plug a cassette player into my computer to get this in digital format. The quality is TERRIBLE - as it is an audience member recording, howver I don't know of any other copy, PA or otherwise, that is in existence of this show. So given the bad quality, this really has trainspotter appeal only - I put this clip up because if you are an Pixies anorak like me you will have heard many, many live Pixies recordings - what I liked about this is the little speech Frank gives at the beginning - this speech gives an indication of why Dublin was the loudest show of the 1991 Tour - to prove his point, I think he puts extra ferocity into his initial screams of 'THEY'VE GOTTA RANCH THEY CALL..'!
I do have the rest of the show, but not in a position to make it available just yet.. so enjoy it!
