Amazing Grace courtesy of Womans Weekly!
Stand by to be astonished by recently extracted findings from the large National Health Interview Survey in the US. Those who had attended church weekly from the age of 20 lived seven years longer on average than non-churchgoers. This is not surprising, as research already shows churchgoers feel happier, divorce less, have less heart disease and high blood pressure, and recover faster from hip fractures and burns. The theory is that drawing on their relationship with God, focusing on what really matters, and being part of a “church family” are what make the difference.
