Anxious?

 

 

Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world.                                                                                John 16:33

 

For God has said, "I will never, never fail you nor forsake you." That is why we can say without any doubt or fear, "The Lord is my Helper, and I am not afraid of anything that mere man can do to me."                                                Hebrews 13:6

 

Let  Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.                                           1 Peter 5, v 7

 

I will lie down in peace and sleep, for though I am alone, you will keep me safe.         

                                                                                                     Psalm 4, v 8

 

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we don’t know why things happen as they do, but we don’t give up. We are hunted down, but get back up again and keep going. these bodies of ours are constantly facing death just as Jesus did; so it is clear that it is only the living Christ within who keeps us safe.                                       2 Corinthians 4, vs 8-10

 

Then I saw a new earth (with no oceans) and a new sky, for the present earth and sky had disappeared... yes, God himself will be among them. He will wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All of that has gone forever.                                                     Revelation 21: 1-4
