PROPOSED
ST. PATRICK'S
DAY PARADE
Following a meeting during the week regarding the proposed
holding of a St.Patrick's Day parade in Cloonfad village this year.
A decision on the holding of a parade was deferred until Monday
January 28th. A
final decision on the proposed parade will be made at a public meeting
in Cloonfad Community Centre on Monday January 28 at 9.00pm. It will
depend completely on the amount of local support for this venture, as it
is a major undertaking for the community. So it is up to the amount of support, good labour force and
goodwill of the entire community if the idea of the parade is to go
ahead this year. All are
welcome to voice your opinion on this matter at Monday night’s public
meeting.
