Launch of the Coaching/Wexford Development Plan in Clonroche Community Centre on Mon 18th Dec 2006
Around 30 adults/coaches turned up including parents, hurlers and trainers and loads of kids. Nicholas Kehoe had his indoor hurling squad of players from 6 to 10 years present. Both principals of our National Schools in Clonroche and Poulpeasty were there also. George O'Connor, Wexford Hurling Development Administrator and his 2 deputies, Joe kearns and Jimmy Furlong coached the kids and demonstrated to our hurlers and intending coaches ways to achieve success at coaching. He distributed coaching manuals and promo material and the kids got various pictures and stickers. A great evening for Cloughbawn GAA people.
