Facilities

The school is situated on twelve acres of beautiful, landscaped grounds overlooking Dublin Bay.

Facilities have expanded in the school over the years, including the addition of new classrooms in the 1980s. More recently, specialist rooms were added i.e. Art and Craft, Computer and Geography rooms. The Computer Room now has thirty networked stations with Internet access and a range of additional IT equipment.

The School also has two fully equipped Laboratories, a Home Economics Kitchen and Sewing Room, a Library, a Concert Hall and a full-time Career Guidance teacher.

In 1999 a new Sports Complex was completed at a cost of €2m, which includes a well-equipped gym, showers, changing rooms and a Cafeteria area. The Sports Complex has facilities for indoor Basketball, Hockey, Table Tennis, Badminton and Tennis.The outdoor facilities include an All-Weather Hockey Pitch and space for outdoor sports including athletics, soccer and cross-country running.

The Board of Management is committed to an ongoing Development Programme for the Secondary School, which involves a phased building programme and the upgrading of existing facilities. A new Library and other specialist rooms are at the planning stage.
