Laptop Initiative

In November 2007 the laptop initiative was launched in Carrignafoy College, with all students enrolled in first year afforded the opportunity to avail of laptop use in the classroom. Initial use of the laptops was focused on Science, Maths, French and Geography. All subject areas are now covered through this initiative and it will be rolled out over the next two years to cover the full Junior Certificate cycle. Carrignafoy College will embrace the new technology to better prepare our students for their future careers.
