Carrignafoy Community College is delighted to announce that we have secured approval from the department of Education & Science to offer a new course in Engineering Technology for adult day students. Following on the recent uograde of our workshops and computer facilities, we are in a position to offer FETAC Level 5 Engineerng Technology.

This course is designed to suit students who have an interest in pursuing a career in Business, Office Administration or ICT.

The course is 1 year in duration and consists fo the following modules:

• Information & Administration
• Payroll: Manual & Computerised
• Book-Keeping: Manual & Computerised
• Business Calculations
• Communications
• Work Experience
• Word Processing
• Text Production

This course is designed to suit students who intend on pursuing a career in the area of Tourism as well as those who have an interest in the historical and business elements of this area. The course is 1 year in duration and consists of the following modules:

• Travel & Tourism
• Work Experience

At Cobh Community College we run FETAC Art Craft & Design Course, Level 5. The modules include drawing, painting, ceramics, printing, textiles and sculpture. From these modules our students follow their own paths, make their own further discoveries and build on their creative talents. The classes run four mornings, each week. Being introduced to art with which the students can identify and meet like-minded people is an essential part of this FETAC Course.
Each year we are lucky and fortunate to show our work at The Sirius Art Centre. The work in this show is the result of each students individual journey to create, capture and produce imaginative and exciting new art work.
