Touring

Since its foundation, Cois Cladaigh has traveled widely, throughout Ireland and further abroad to mainland Europe and the United States. This includes numerous visits to France and Italy, Belgium, Portugal Holland, Czechslovakia and Boston.

The choir's foreign tours have always been a great success due to their blending of both European and Irish choral works with traditional Irish songs and dances, as indeed Cois Cladaigh numbers also, some excellent musicians and dancers within its ranks.

In addition to this, the choir often plays host in its hometown, to the many international choirs that pass through Galway City on tour.
