We are an excellent center from which you can explore the scenery of Cork, Killarney, Blarney, Kinsale, Beara Peninsula & West Cork. Situated in the heart of the Cork / Kerry mountains we have no shortage of good scenery. We are an ideal location for exploring the Lee Valley, Gougane Barra is 4km away and The Gearagh is 15km away. Guests can relax in the evenings by the open turf fires. Home baking, packed lunches and 4 course meals served.

This is the ideal spot for families with children, you will find lots to to do and see in our area. In the evening there is usually entertainment in the Hotels and Pubs, including Traditional Music, Dancing, Story Telling and of course, the famous Craic. Traditonal music can be regularly found at Seártans pub in the village. Local crafts can be seen in the village, we have a Basketry and a leather workshop in the village.
