Children's Book Festival 2001

The Book Festival was a huge success last week, with over 300 adults and children attending workshops and competitions held in the library.  The “Viking Live” show went down a treat.  It was both informative and enjoyable. 

 Our visiting Viking showed the enthralled audience a huge variety of weapons, chain mail and helmets.  The “Story at Bedtime” was also a great success.  Thanks to our fairy godmother, Helen Walsh of Barnstorm Theatre
