Perhaps it was the asking price of 150.00 that through many people off or maybe it was the fact that many people knew that the Playstation and SEGA's own Saturn was due for release in a few months and would make this piece of junk, er I mean equipment, out of date.
Was it a serious device or just a stop gap measure to keep money puring into their pockets while we all waited for the Saturn? SEGA themselves weren't sure about this. The result was that due to poor hardware sales the software front was almost no existant and brought about the death of the console.
Personally I think SEGA was pushing it a bit too far with this one but I'm sure there is someone out there with a 32X thats happy...theres just gotta be...
