Coolanarney N.S. Our school is Coolananey National school. It is in the parish of Killoughy near Tullamore in Co. Offaly. There are two other schools in our parish . They are Gortnamona N.S. and Mountbolus N.S. Our school is on the Cloghan road ,about two kilometres from the Blueball. Our school has three classrooms now. Two are in the main school building and the other is a prefab at the back. We have three teachers . They are Mrs. Lynch, Mrs. Lernihan and Miss Mahon. This is the first time in the school’s history it has had three teachers. We also have a shared learning –support teacher . She is Miss Clifford. Our shared resource teacher is Ms. Lambe. Our football team takes part in the Cumann na mBunscol competitions . We have lost two finals and we have won one final in the past three years. One teacher Mrs. Lernihan is our coach. We have great activities for P.E. The girls play football with us too and they also play basketball. We have a lovely pitch to play football on.. We are all very proud of our school .
