Why CORRUPTED??? It first started when Antony just turned around to meself and Morgan and said "Do you want to start a band?"

Bass seems an unusual instrument for someone to choose. How did you begin playing it? I started off playing the guitar originally. When we started the band, I turned around to Antony and said "So what am I going to play, by the way?" He goes "Oh, you can play bass!" (Laughs) I got a lend of a bass... I've not been playing it that long but I got a grasp of it very quickly. I started off playing with the drums immediately, so I already had that grasp and the guitar followed on quite easily. I actually rather playing the bass. I love the sounds and just the way it can be used. It can change a whole song, totally.

Your first gig with the band... How did it go? Surprising well, actually. I was up there... like, it was the first gig so I was like "Oooooh, shit!"

And your best gig to date? It'd have to be the last gig here [Temple Bar Music Centre, March 24th 2001]. I thought "This is brilliant. It's really getting into it... A really decent-sized stage." The crowd probably did it more for me. Brilliant!

Like Kev, would you be into playing the arena scene, etc? Ah, no... Ozzfest! I'd love to... Especially to be under the bill of OZZY OSBOURNE and that... BLACK SABBATH...

So what are you going to do when you're rich and famous? Just keep to the music... If everything goes the way we want it, we'll be touring all over the world... I haven't really thought about that actually too much... I'm just happy to keep doing gigs and all that.

Your words of wisdom for any up-coming bands, wondering what to do next? Jump into it. Usually what happens to a lot of bands, they do be in doing rehearsals and they are in it maybe two or three years before they get an opportunity to get into a gig. A lot of them just tend to keep doing rehearsals. You're better off just getting a couple of songs sorted... whatever... maybe a couple of covers... and just jump into it.

Are you happy that, given the wide age-groups represented at your gigs, that CORRUPTED's music can continue to appeal to a wide audience? I don't really care who's going to listen to it. As long as they enjoy it. If they enjoy it, then I'm happy. I know I'm loving it, so I just hope other people do as well.

Robbie Williams... Justify the title of King of Pop? I honestly wouldn't know.
