SEVEN DEADLY SKINS

REGGAE BAND

The seven deadly skins formed 2 years ago and have been gigging for 18 months.

The core group consisted of Andrew Barron, Ciaran Nugent and Alan Mc Evoy,

with later additions of Paul Ward, Shane Conway and Owen Gillard.

The Skins made their first appearance as part of the "Reggae Island" showcase in the

Temple Bar music centre.

For the following months we played continuously, tightening the sound, harmonies and

spreading the name. In the summer 99 we went and recorded a five track demo CD in

Cosmic Recording Studios. We have had several radio interviews, plays and performance

On Near FM, Midlands Radio and Phantom FM.

We have been playing as a headline band since, working on stage presence and

performance.

Presently we are working on the next CD and are increasing our set list to include

well known folk/trad songs, 70s rock hits as well as the usual Marley/UB40 etc.
