River Rock is a traditional semi detached Cottage renovated in late 1999 in old world style capturing its 140 years of history. Romance is in abundance with old stone fireplace, antique crane, dresser with delph, sewing machine and old radio, soft furnishings and delightful photographs of family ancestors who occupied the Cottage in years gone by. The antiques in the Cottage such as the crane which adorns the old fireplace, and the old dresser have survived through the years - these are a reminder of life in by-gone years. The open fire assisted by the crane where many pots and skillets hung provided the only means of cooking for the Occupants and the open fire was the only source of heating. The Cottage is set in pretty countryside a mere 1. 6 miles from the buzzing town of Killarney with a gentle river on its boundary and the sound of running water lends to the romantic ambience of the property.

Firstly the town has an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and shops - there are restaurants to cater for all tastes in food - pubs provide traditional music, ballads, classical or disco - take your choice, Killarney has them all.
