Fear Street

This story is about a feud between two families , which lasted over 300 years.It is one of the best horror books that I have ever read.

There were three parts in the book, The Betrayel, The Secret and the Burning and although the book is divided , each part continues along the same storyline.

"The Betrayel " is about Susannah Goode. Poor Susannah was burnt as a witch.

"The Secret " is all about William Goode,(Susannah's father) putting a deadly curse

which leads to nothing but death and sorrow for both familes.

"The Burning" is all about the Goode's finally getting their revenge.

R.L. Stine is also author of the popular "Goosebumps" series of books.

I really enjoyed this book.

The Harry Potter books are the most popular children's books ever published. The series include:

"Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone",

"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets",

"Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban",

and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".

J.K. Rowling is author of these Best Sellers, and is now a multi-millionaire. Her next book is to be published in the year 2002. The last Harry Potter book, (the Goblet of Fire) has 650 pages of fear, excitement and mystery.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

This book is about Harry Potter and his adventures in his first year in Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He learns about his powers and his dislike towards Snape , the potions master.

This book is brilliant so I gave it J J J J J

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

This book is about Harry in his second year. He learns all about the Dark Arts. He also learns about his hate for Lord Voldemort master of all dark arts. Harry learns about his run in with Voldemort when he was a month old.Both Harry's parents had been killed trying to protect him. But Harry just escaped with a lightning scar.However this year proves to be just as eventful as the last.

Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban.

This book is about Harry's strange but exciting third year. Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban. Azkaban is a prison for Voldemort's followers, guarded by the dreaded soul sucking dementers. Sirius is said to be one of Voldermort 's followers and is said to be seeking revenge from Harry for Voldemort. So throughout the year Harry is accompanied everywhere he goes and after a while he gets tired of it . This year has plenty of adventures which are very unpredictable!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

The summer holidays are dragging on and Harry Potter can't wait for the start of the school year. It is his fourth year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, and there are spells to be leart , potions to be brewed and Divination lessons (sigh) to be attended. Harry is expecting these: however, other quite unexpected events are already on the march............

Return to Creepe Hall by Alan Durant

Return to Creepe Hall is an interesting book suiting the age group from 10-12 years.

The book is about a boy called Oliver who goes on holidays to Creepe Hall, every single holiday of his life!!

However, it was no ordinary holiday this time. Con and Can and Uncle Franklin, Uncle Valdimir, Mammy and Werebadger were there .The weird inventor Cleopatra was there also.

Con and Can are twins about Olivers age (ie 12 years old). They get into all kinds of trouble. Mammy looks after everybody and she makes sure that Werebadger stays with them.

Uncle Franklin is a vampire and Uncle Valdimir is a crazy inventor who invented Cleopatra who makes a difference to everybodys life

It is worth reading and I rate it J J J (LJ-5th Class)
