Recyclable Christmas Decorations Competition 2008
We held our Christmas Decoration Competition on the week beginning December 9th. As usual the standard was extremely high. All decorations were displayed in the School Hall and many visitors to the school commented on the attractive display. Emphasis was placed on the use of imagination and of recycled material. Winners were selected on this basis and presented with their prizes at the Green Assembly held on Friday 12th December. Over 200 children hundred took part in the Competition this year and it remains one of their favourite Green Activities. All children who entered received a special merit award for taking part. Many thanks to parentsfor their continued support. We look forward to working together to try to achieve our next Green Flag in the coming year.
