In November 2003 our school was registered with the 'Green Schools' programme. This is an international environmental project for schools designed to encourage whole-school action for the environment. Last year we succeeded in reducing the amount of waste going to landfill by half just by separating our rubbish - fruit-waste is now composted and tetra-paks, paper and cardboard are recycled.

On October 12th Mrs. Sheary's Class carried out a Litter Survey. Later in the month, Mrs. Duggan's class carried out a Lunch Box Survey. The results of these surveys are shown in this thumbnail photograph   .
