Farewell to our Principal, Ms Spain:

January 31st  saw the pupils and staff bid a fond farewell to our Principal, Ms. Noreen Spain who gave many years of dedicated service to the school. Noreen has taught in St Mary's since 1969. She taught 44 pupils in her first class. In the year 2000, Noreen was appointed principal. During her years in the school, she has seen many changes, such as the creation of special needs assistant posts and the development of special education programmes. Noreen has also seen the successful integration of many foreign national families at St. Mary's in recent years. 

During her time in St. Mary's, Noreen always worked continuously to help and support her pupils and staff. We wish Noreen a healthy, happy and contented retirement.

New School Principal:

The staff and pupils welcome Peadair O'Dwyer as their new principal. This is another historical transition for the school as Peadair is the first male principal. Blessed is he among women!
