Congratulations! Our two sixth classes were confirmed in St. Joseph's Church by Dr. William Walsh on Sunday, April 2nd, 2000.
A great day was had by all!
A School Table Quiz was held in the School Hall on Friday, April 7th for children from 4th, 5th and 6th Classes. Questions were set by the Quizperson, Ms. Tiernan, assisted by Mr. Culloo, Ms. Leamy and the class teachers, and teams of three were selected from a hat by Mr. Hanrahan. There were prizes for the winning team.

The School Choir performed at the recent Confirmation ceremony. The were prepared by Ms. Barry and Ms. Leamy. They are now looking forward to their annual outing.
4th and 5th Class Choir Keep our School Clean Campaign! Last September Scoil Chríost Rí won "The Best Kept School Award". We were very proud of our achievement and a lot of work had been done over the winter to keep the school in good shape. Flower pots have been filled with bedding plants recently and plans are afoot to plant more trees. All the flower beds have been kept in good condition by Joe, our caretaker, while Gerard, our other caretaker, has been busy repotting all the pot plants. Children undre the guidance of Ms. McMahon and Ms. Tiernan have planted the large pots at the front of the school. Great credit is due to all the children who provide litter patrols during Sos and Lunch breaks and who watch over our trees and flowerbeds when the school is closed.
