Teddy goes on Tour
The children of First Class took part in a project called "Teddy goes on Tour" in conjunction with First Class from the Holy Family Junior School. Each class adopted a teddy, named him and got to know him. Our teddy is called Cuddles and he goes home with a different child each night. Cuddles does everything that the child does, and goes everywhere that the child goes, so Cuddles is a well travelled teddy!
Recently Cuddles went on holiday to the Holy Family Junior School, while their teddy, called Snuggles, came on holiday to us. Snuggles and Cuddles went home with the children every night and reported back to the class on all the lovely things they had seen and done.
The children wrote about Snuggles' adventures using StoryBook Weaver and these stories were e-mailed to First Class in The Holy Family Junior School. Photographs of Cuddles, Snuggles and of the classes were sent back and forth by e-mail also.
Snuggles and Cuddles have now returned home to their respective schools full of their adventures. Both teddies are looking forward to visiting other schools in the future.

Snuggles Goes Shopping
My name is Martin. I brought Snuggles to Dunnes Stores yesterday
evening. We did the shopping. We went to the swings too. My
brothers and sisters had great fun with him. My baby brother hugged
and kissed Snuggles. He wanted to keep him.
