Our Junior classes span from Junior Infants to First Class. Junior and Senior Infants attend school from 9 a.m. until 1 a.m. In First Class they attend for the whole day. Our teachers recognise the importance of developing the full potential of each child so learning in the Junior classes is a multi-disiplinary approach with a major emphasis on "Learning by Doing". It is an underlying principle in the Revised Curriculum that the child shoul be an active agent in his or her own learning. Parents also play an important part in the education of their children, as parents are the primary educators. Therefore close co-operation between the home and the school is essential if children are to receive the maximun benefit from their days at school. Our teachers are always available for consultation on any matter regarding your child's welfare, whether it be academic, emotional or social Click below to see some examples of the work of our Junior classes. |
