Information Technology in the Cork School Project.

There is tremendous interest in computers amoung the pupils and teachers in the Cork School Project. In the current school year the school has got its first connection to the Internet. The school web site has been set up successfully. Multimedia computers are being used in the school for the first time. Click here for full details of the Information Technology Programme.

However there is no funding for computers in Irish primary schools from the department of education. The computer used for E-mail and connecting to the Internet was on loan from a local computer company and they have requested it's return. The school could do with some help in raising funds for computer equipment. More background on school funding.
