Places to go

These are places some of our members have found useful to go with children - however, it does not imply that Cuidiu DNE endorses them.

Playgrounds

  • St. Anne's Park, Clontarf (playground just off Mount Prospect Ave, just down from Rose garden. Deep into rest of park may be quite isolated during weekdays).
  • St. Albert's Park, next to DCU (playground segregated into younger and older children, and also has rubber surface for damp days)
  • Fairview Park
  • Griffith Park, Drumcondra
  • Newbridge House & Farm & playground (also good for summer picnics)
  • Malahide Castle & playground
  • Ardgillan Castle, just off the M1 past Donabate turnoff, has an outdoor adventure playground
