Dear Çréla Prabhupäda

Bhakta Laurence O'Gorman     Laurence O’Gorman

Dearest Çréla Prabhupäda,

This most fallen wretch, who is lost and is wandering blindly through the glare of maya begs for you to please bless me by hearing my prayer.

Dearest Çréla Prabhupäda,

You have given to this helpless soul a gift, which is a prize beyond compare, one which cannot be bought by any amount of material wealth.

Dearest Çréla Prabhupäda ,

This gift you have given me takes me beyond any realm of happiness which this material world has ever offered me. Without you, most Holy One, real happiness would never have been mine. Indeed without this treasure, Çréla Prabhupäda, this soul would indeed have been condemned to a life of the most degraded perversion.

Dearest Çréla Prabhupäda,

Please allow me to cherish and nurture this gift so that I can indeed rise above this perverted state of mind in which I find myself drowning, and advance toward a state which will allow my self to find some small measure of dignity and humility of which you are the perfect personification.

My dearest Holy One,

Words are a futile attempt to express how I feel toward you – your picture on my altar – your books on my shelf – your words in my heart and mind.

Dearest Çréla Prabhupäda ,

Please forgive this conceited fool for daring to utter your Holy Name. Without you I would have no life beyond degradation and filth, yet because of your mercy I have the only goal which is worth achieving.

Dearest Çréla Prabhupäda ,

Please continue to make your presence felt in my life, your glories reverberate throughout creation and bring the most Holy Names of Çré Çré Rädhä and Kåñëa to all fallen souls. Please allow me to engage in the great chanting for deliverance, and vibrate with love and devotion this gift which you have given to me.

Thank you Çréla Prabhupäda for hearing my prayer.
