Greetings Uddhava!
I read the Irish Folk you gave me
from cover to cover and really enjoyed it. Would it be possible to put me on the mailing
list for Irish Folk? I would really like to read some more issues (I only have 2 and 4 at
present).
With regard to one of the letters in
one, the suggestion was made that Irish Folk should be put on the internet. To this end I
would be available to do any work required in order to do so. I'll be leaving my computer
and all my software behind when I go, but the friend I will be staying with probably has
his laptop with him so I might be of some use.
I have been involved (in a small
way) in web design for a couple of years now and have plenty of graphics and web authoring
software. It would be quite easy to get 3 megs free web space at geocities.com (I have a
site there, but it hasn't been updated in quite a while...). If you decide to undertake
such a task, I would be honoured if you could call on me for any assistance.

Thank you for your
encouraging words regarding Irish FOLK. I will send you Numbers 1 and 3 right away. I
appreciate your offer to set up a web site for Irish FOLK (now known as Bhakti Vrksa). I
have always wanted to do this but, alas, my computer skills are rudimentary. So I am
looking forward to you assisting us with your know-how. Actually this Krishna
consciousness philosophy is so practical that all we have to do is use whatever talent we
have at our disposal for the glorification and service of the Lord. Thank you again.
Dear Friend Uddhava das,
Thank you for your reply to my
letter and copy to Irish FOLK - I would like to receive further copies and I particularly
liked the article by Bhakta Mark - "The Word On The Street." Nice one Mark! I
cannot send a donation as I have no money at present although I would like to thank you
for your kindness and thoughts so I enclose some poems which you maybe included in your
next magazine -if you deem appropriate and of course have the space. It is my attempt at
saying thank you and making some contribution to Krishna and those working so hard to make
the philosophy understood.
