HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is the code used to write webpages. Basic HTML is quite simple to learn and involves basic text manipulation and insertion of images.
Example One More advanced types of HTML include the use of tables and frames. While this is all well and good on it's own, it's not very impressive, this is where newer technologies come into play. CSS - Cascading Style Sheets, a method of positioning 'layers' which can sit on top of one another. js - JavaScript, is like a little programming language. Java - is a programming language developed by Sun, it is particularly suited to use on the internet in the form of 'applets'. DHTML - Dynamic HTML, is a merger of JavaScript and CSS to create complicated effects such as animation. Flash - is a plugin developed by Macromedia for vector based animation. ![]() |
