The AGM was held in Galvin's, Dunkineely on Tuesday 28th March. It was attended by a large gathering of members eager to get to the 1st tee and participate in the coming-year's events.

The packed audience heard the out-going secretary give a detailed reoprt on the year's activities. Membership for 1999 was 31, almost the same as the previous year. There had been 9 outings, which was 4 less than 1998, but the courses played were nation-wide, Narin/Portnoo, Ballybofey & Stranorlar, Donegal Golf Club, Bundoran, Royal County Down and Warrenpoint.

The treasurer reported that there had been no increase in membership fees for 5 years and it was hoped that this would remain. Green fees for the year were £604, while prizes cost £715. As such there was no profit or loss.

The officers elected for the coming year were: Secretary - Dominic Deeny; Assistant Secretary - Kevin McKenna; Treasurer; Ray Murphy; Assistant Treasurer - Joe Ward; Captain - Paddy Breslin; Assistant Captain; Pete Shovlin.
