Boats racing in cruiser classes
are divided as follows on the basis of their ISA Standard
ECHO Standard Reference Handicap/IRC Handicap (subject to
the Committee's right to allocate a boat to any class).
Cruisers 1:
Boats at 0.971 and above
Cruisers 2:
Boats from 0.901 to 0.970
Cruisers 3:
Boats from 0.835 to 0.900
Cruisers 4:
Boats at 0.834 and below
In the 2001 season the Committee may allow boats under the same ownership and configuration as in 1999 and affected by the year 2000 breakpoints to participate in the same clas as in 1999. This option must be taken up before the 2001 season commences.
