"Health is not simply the absence of sickness."
~ Hannah Green
Although practitioners in various fields of western or orthodox medicine generally work to the best of their abilities, their fields are limited and are often left without answers or solutions. This means they have to admit defeat, leaving illnesses uncured, leaving some people with a limited quality of life. Also, many conditions are very difficult to diagnose and so, no treatment can be offered.
Sometimes complementary medicine
is a good option.
Complementary or (alternative)
holistic medicine. Holistic
medicine can provide some of the
solutions that have eluded the
general scientific and medical
communities. It’s also a more satisfactory
approach to our healing
in general.
There are many things
that define the fundamental differences
between western and
holistic medicine.
In holistic medicine, time is seen
as an investment which will be
repayed greatly throughout one's
entire life. If time is taken now to
fully understand the real causes
of our illnesses and then treated
fully, time will be repaid to you
hand over fist, as you go through
life healthier and probably longer.
However time is sacred for most
people and this is where the quick
fix of orthodox medicine holds its
appeal.
