For the last century, we have pursued and measured our well-being and rising living standards through consumption and economic growth.

But this development is not sustainable and despite increasing average incomes and lifespans, it’s failing present and future generations because we are using environmental resources to the breaking point, we are creating a more unequal world for people, and our quality of life is not increasing though we recieve material benefits.

We need to choose to live more sustainble happier lives here in Ennis, and help others to do so as well.
