Ennis also has beautiful green spots such as around the Friary. There are plenty of enjoyable walks and cycles along the River Fergus, and the surrounding countryside just outside the town.
As the town expands, we need to preserve these green areas and ensure sustainable development. Creating more open green areas is much needed, where people can relax. As citizens of Ennis, we need to remind our local representatives of these issues.
