Owing mainly to our excellent support group, we are
extremely lucky to have possibly the best computer facility, in any primary school, in the whole of Co. Meath.

What makes our school special to others, is that we have a dedicated computer teacher.
Mr. Prendergast takes all students, from first class onwards, for a minimum of 30 to 40 minutes per week. Students are sent in groups of no more than 14, ensuring most of the time, they have a computer to themselves. Mr. Prendergast has designed a curriculum which covers creative writing, graphic design, numeracy and logic puzzles, internet and science projects to name but a few. Each grade completes a large multimedia project each term, which involves the use of a digital camera and a web cam. All of this is done in a 'fun' way, and the whole group progresses as a team, ensuring nobody is left behind. He has also researched and supplied valuable 'shareware' software to our resource teachers, who find them an invaluable aid to teaching children with special needs.
