Young Scientists
  2006 - 2007

This year the children from 4th class have been working on the Discover Primary Science Programme. The programme helps children to understand that modern science is about fun, discovery and adventure and that it is relevant to our everyday lives. The programme is designed to support and enhance the SESE primary school curriculum. The children are doing lots of prescribed experiments and investigations in class. This also involves designing, making and using their own ideas.
Have a look at our photographs to see what we have been up to.

Congratulations to the children in 4th class and their previous teacher Ms Brennan for being awarded the "2007 Discover Primary Science Award of Science Excellence". Three children and their teacher will represent the class at the awards' ceremony in Croke Park on Tuesday 5th June.
This is just reward for the great effort the whole class has put into this project since the beginning of the school year.
