The people of Carrigaline annually celebrate the custom of visiting and making rounds at St. Ranogs Well on the outskirts of the town - a tradition which has continued for centuries.
The band regularly participate in the event which takes place on St. John's Eve - bonfire night. Here the band, led by Drum Major Maurice Deasy, can be seen leading the participants back to the town at the conclusion of the event in 1987.
