An Taioseach (Prime Minister) Charles Haughey arrives by helicopter at Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork deepwater terminal in 1989. 
His wife, Maureen (on right of picture) later officially opened the newly constructed terminal. The day was also marked by the first visit of the QE2 to Ringaskiddy to commemerate the 150th. anniversary of the Cunard Steamship Company.
