St. Mary's Church of Ireland is located near Carrigaline Castle. The first church was built on this site in the thirteenth century. Having been badly damaged during a siege of the nearby castle, it was rebuilt in the early 1600's.
It was replaced by a new church in 1723, which served the parish for another 100 years.
The present church, designed by George and James Pain, was completed in 1824. It was completely refurbished in 1992.
