We are within 10 minutes walk of the town center and beaches.

 

 

Doban is the ideal base for touring the East Coast, visit Avoca  (location for Ballykissangel) also the oldest hand weaving mill in Ireland, Glendalough where St Kevin had his monastery also the location for many movies.  Avondale the home of Charles Stewart Parnell. Wicklow Goal is just 15minutes drive away.  Wexford Heritage Park is 45 minutes by car. Medieval Kilkenny is 1hr 45mins drive away.

Golf at the challenging Links course at Arklow, enjoy the parkland course at Woodenbridge set in the vale of Avoca. Visit the  European Golf Club and many others in the locality.

Wicklow is known as the Garden of Ireland. Visit many of the gardens, such as Powerscourt, Mount Usher and Kilmacurragh.  There are numerous walks of varying distance and degree of difficulty.
