I want to thank all who contacted me with messages of support on hearing of my recent break, taken on the advice of my Doctor. This unplanned break has forced me to stand back, take time and reflect. I have decided I must listen to the repeated advice of others and not take on any more major events for the time being, until I’m feeling stronger. Over the coming weeks and months I do intend to perform in some smaller, more local situations, but no more ‘big’ events, for now.  

Therefore, after much deliberation and soul searching, it is with great reluctance and very deep regret I have to announce that we will not be performing at Knock Basilica on October 26th 2008. This date is cancelled. 

I regret very much the disappointment and inconvenience this will cause, but I look forward to performing again for the many people who have supported me throughout the years, and whose contact and support in recent times has been humbling.  

Finally I want to thank the Management and Staff at Knock for their kind support and understanding in this difficult time, and for the patience and attention.
