DONEGAL TOWN SNOOKER CLUB

Charlie Murphy's magical break of 133 last week has electrified the club and he has certainly taken the standard of play in the club to new heights. One hopes that the junior members in particular will be inspired to attain the heights Charlie has reached. The man himself must now focus on the upcoming County Championship, as he is surely the club's best hope for honours since James Gallagher's triumph in 1990.

The members voted to change the layout of the tables at an E.G.M. held last Friday. There will now be three tables in the senior section, which should shorten the waiting time for games.

The club have finished in third place in their Derry League group and will play a team from Group A in the quarterfinals. Tom Plunkett has qualified for the quarterfinals of the individual tournament run in conjunction with the league.
